Synopsis

*Fullmetal Alchemist* follows the story of two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, who commit the taboo of alchemy in a desperate attempt to bring their mother back to life. The transmutation goes horribly wrong, leaving Edward with the loss of his left leg and Alphonse with his entire body, his soul bound to a suit of armor.

The brothers set out on a journey to find the Philosopher's Stone, a powerful alchemical artifact that could restore their bodies. Along the way, they uncover dark secrets about the nature of alchemy, government conspiracies, and the true cost of their actions, leading them into a deeper and more dangerous conflict that threatens the entire world.
